FSU raised about $20 million in private donations to buy out what was left of Taggart's contract, sources told ESPN's Mark Schlabach.

Incredible how we assign value to things.  Need $20 million to build a research building and it takes an act of god and a decade in this state.  Raise a quick $20M to off a coach and tada....
