I would say no, the local news said that Leak has in injury in his throwing shoulder that occured at FSU last fall. He reaggrevated it against Alabama. I cannot see him being benched.

he wont be benched because UF is still in the running for the SEC and putting in Portis would be throwing in the towel.  He wont transfer because he would just go pro

In what little action I have seen of Leak running Florida's new offense, on AFN, it seems like he is gun shy when running the option.  The reason Utah's offense clicked last season was because Alex Smith wasn't afraid to run.

Why not?  He's ready to go pro if he wanted to.  Second, where would he go?  It would have to be a top 10 school and him having to sit a year wouldn't sit well with him or the school.

Bottom line:  If he left, he would go pro.  I find it really silly if you actually think he would drop to a mid-major school.
