The Pirates have fired their president and GM to go along with the manager they let go at the end of the season. I wonder how much the Archer trade played into those decisions. Had to be tough watching Meadows and Glasnow this season in Pittsburgh.

The Rays in their history have been known to make some really good deals.  This one could be the Topper.

Never was an Archer fan, he talked too much and never could back it up.  Meanwhile Meadows and Glasnow have a chance to be stars!

Too bad the Ray's won't keep them. As soon as the arbitration window is closing these guys will be traded

Maybe not if they get the stadium deals (plural) they are looking for from St. Pete and Montreal, by then.

Sternberg's business model will never include big contracts. He's not a competitor, he is wall street investor.

I agree, I was being sarcastic.

Its a shame too, because this has the makings of being a good team for years to come, if they would keep the band together.  Not to mention, putting the team in Tampa instead of that monstrosity in St. Pete.
