At best he is playing like a high school qb.  Tentative, slow reaction to coverage, and no confidence.  There's nothing to lose at this point with going with rygol.

He's hurt and obviously trying to protect himself. A shoulder injury is a one of the most painful when it comes to contact

agree.

I  don't think he is sturdy enough to take hits regularly without getting hurt.

Even if Strong is a good football coach which he is not)  it's going to be a long time before we can turn it around. a DI qb is not on the roster.

Should have put the backup in early on...it was clear he is in too much pain to do anything effective...that being said, he still played awful with what he could do...

So do we really want him to be fired?  What are our chances with bringing in better talent with a new regime?

Even with a new coaching staff, we are looking at 2 yrs minimum in turning the program around.
