Yes we have, Mike was cut shortly after our discussion as I projected.  He is a practice squad player for the Jets and will wash out of the league in the next year.  Blake’s tape is not going to get him anymore than an FA invite to camp and he will never play a down in a regular season game either.  I like them both but they don’t have the ability to read a defense and deliver the ball effectively at the professional level, nothing personal but it is what it is.

Sad to hear. I thought he still had more he could give to USF this season. Hope his classic talent and NFL style get him looks at the next level.

Even as a practice squad player White is in his 3RD year in the NFL and his chapter has not closed yet which means he STILL has a chance 2 get better.  All Blake needs is a tryout or 2 and can land somewhere. There are plenty of overachievers in the league. UF is winning with a QB that rode the bench in highschool and been 4th string his first few years at UF. Who are you 2 predict anybody's future or chit on anybody's potential?

Who am I? You don’t know who the eff I is?  I am  just a guy much like you who is on this board to share my opinion.  I am obviously much more knowledgeable about the game and can identify talent and potential which is something you obviously cannot do.   This is his 2nd year not 3rd and neither Mike or Blake have the ability to read a defense and a deliver the ball effectively in the time necessary to be successful in the NFL.  How you cannot see that is baffling, I of course may be wrong but I rarely am, take it for what it is worth.  Do not mistake my prediction to mean I would not like for these guys to make it and represent our University however I just see things for what they are and not for what I wish they were.

If he is in 3RD year in the league, it probably means he is showing enough "promise" to stay in the league....at least for a 3rd year. QF and many other players werent afforded the same luxury.

Are you pulling my leg? He was drafted last year, in the 5th round by the Cowboys, this is his second year, there is this thing called the internet, look it up.  It is 2019 right?

So I don't necessarily disagree with your opinion that neither BB nor MW would play a regular season snap, though I'd say Blake still has as much a shot as MW. But your original offering that "He is not good enough to play at any level and that has been proven in his time here" was why I responded. "At any level" is too absolute. The fact that MW got the draft, plays as an NFL practice squad QB, and has taken snaps in pre-season games with the highest-level players is enough to say he played professionally beyond CFB. There's also other professional leagues in and out of the US that many USF players have gone on to play in, so I still say he's not done.

Former Seahawk Dave Kreig was 7TH string QB for NAIA Milton College, which is no longer in existence, and he made it all the way to the NFL. Actually played many years and had a pretty good career, including getting the Seahawks to the AFC Championship game. I doubt Blake gets there, but stranger things have happened.
