May actually go to a few of these now. Just hope these guys can pay their bills for a while.

Odds are against them. I’ll be shocked if they get past year three...that is usually the life cycle of these operations.

In the fifth round of the skill position phase, the Vipers selected another Tampa Bay fan favorite: former USF star Quinton Flowers, who broke or established 42 school records in his three seasons as a Bulls starter. The team announced him as a running back, but Trestman said he will get reps at quarterback.

“We drafted him because we think he’s a quarterback who’s a great athlete,” he said. “He drops back, he makes all the throws, he can get himself out of trouble, but he’s a quarterback first — there’s no doubt about it. When he’s in the pocket, he’s looking at the defense, he’s making decisions, and I think he can excel in this offense at quarterback.”

Trestman's starting to grow on me ...... may look into the ticket situation.

That's awesome.  Why did they call the team the Vipers though?

Vipers also took Rannell Hall from UCF at WR.  Wasn't he a RB who scored a couple TD's on us 4-5 years ago?  Disclaimer is that my mind is going.

Is Tampa known for Vipers?  I know we have Pirates, Lightning, and Rays, but not sure about Vipers.  I remember occasionally seeing snakes, but more Lizards.  Why weren't we the Tampa Bay Lizard Swarm?  Tampa Bay Manatee?  The Tampa Bay Sand?  Mangroves?  Drawing a blank.  Vipers it is!
