An incredibly stupid observation, the team was loaded with 3 nfl lineman, Q, MVS, D’Ernest, Auggie, Nichols, McCants etc...the second year was thin however by now we should be seeing a better product.  CWT  inherited a dumpster fire and by this time in his 3rd year we were seeing improvements and promise.  I am not sure why you are making excuses for CCS you must be related to him, he is an bumbling idiot.

Bumbling idiot who has been paid millions to coach a game and is set for life financially. Wish I was a bumbling idiot....

And no Im not related whatsoever. :)

it's beyond dumb to continue to blame Taggart in year 3 of Strong's tenure.

true Taggart's classes were front loaded (his first 3 classes were rated #1 in AAC) so there wasn't much room in his 4th class (strong's first).

But this is year 3 and depth and talent is all on Strong.

I'm guessing if Strong's first 3 classes were #1 in AAC we would be just fine.

In Taggart's 3rd year we had

Quniton Flowers. Marlon Mack and D'ernest Johnson in the backfield.

MVS, Rodney Adams and McCants

Wilcox wasn't even a starter.

Not to mention NFL talent on defense.

You shut your mouth! Don't bring facts to this argument!

Yeah, because the facts would show while the team ran almost 12 more plays a game, it was because they were way less efficient in 2017 versus 2018. They also scored 5 points fewer per game, and couldnt finish in the redzone.

So do I, this guy got this far with so little by riding Spurrier’s and Bridgwater’s coat tails,  better to be lucky than smart, CCS has proven this, I truly believe he is the dumbest coach in the FBS.

Every coach with a winning record has a good QB. The whole credit a coach's success to a QB is dumb. I guess Steve Spurrier rode Danny Wuerful coat tails?

Scored 5 less points a game (after losing an All Pro rb) but allowed 8 less points per game..... that's all I really care about when it comes to efficiency.

Spurrier made Danny great, and not the other way around,  Teddy made CCS look good.

So basically QB's make coaches successful is what you are saying and that coaches should give all the credit to their QBs right?

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
