Wins are the only things that make us look good.  Those scores may make usf fans feel good, but unless we win games, no one else will notice those scores and compare them to our games vs those teams.  We have to keep winning to look good.  I sure hope the d plays solid and we put forth complete games like we did vs ul.  If so good things will happen.  But we need to be clicking on all cylinders every single game in order to win out.  There are some tough teams ahead, including pitt.  Remember they have the same qb that just demolished us last year at home.   Dont take pitt too lightly, they have just had some rough games, vs some tough opponents.  They don't lose many games at home, so we need to play solid football next sat.

I, for once, have to agree with Smazza here.  BCS ratings, W's and L's by teams we have played, and so on mean very little.  The bottom line is that USF needs to win.  If we lose to anybody else, other than maybe WVU, forget it.  Just win baby!

This will be a big test for us.  We all know we don't perform well on the road.  Hopefully we can win this game, we must win!

GO BULLS!

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

    Terry Lucas, 09/26/22

"For me, I never considered it that way (as a stepping stone), honestly. When I was offered the head job at South Florida, and I'm sincere about this, I never thought I would ever go anywhere."

    Jim Leavitt
