"The Navy defense entered the day ranked 13th in the nation in rushing defense, giving up 90.3 yards per contest, and allowed Tulsa just 25 yards on the ground through the first half and 69 overall, 50 of which came on one drive early in the third quarter. Navy also ranked 12th in total defense before the game, allowing an average of 277 yards, and Tulsa gained just 99 in the first half and 174 through the first three quarters before ending up with 323 overall, adding more in the fourth quarter with the game already out of reach."

ESPN is located in Connecticut. We both came in at 2-3. Their 2 wins light years ahead of our 2 wins. QB's were a wash and there wasn't a huge drop off in their rb's. Nobody outside of green and gold

Yep, look at the penalties as well.  Only 4 by Navy. Discipline!  

You have to run the ball against them to keep them honest.

Gonna be tough no doubt. However, I won’t ever doubt KB’s offense again as I Bullieve they are getting better. Can’t wait to head to Annapolis this Thursday and see USF pull off the upset next Saturday

Navy is averaging 37.8 points per game, 327.4 rushing yards per game (opponent averaging 86) and nearly a 10 minute advantage in TOP.  Also, 22 rushing TDs, 3 passing TDs.

QB Malcom Perry averaging 120 rushing yards and in five games is just 24 for 37 (small volume, but efficient).

A completely different game plan in order, will be interesting to see how that shakes out.

We're going to need to be able to pass the ball.

Need special teams to come up big. I remember we ran one back on them a couple of years ago. They remind me of the old Tech . We win if we get contributions from special teams.

But even if he can’t , Kirk seemed to not be rattled and impressed me with that laser. Maybe the better thrower is on the bench?
