#AmericanTipoff Set for Monday in Philadelphia

PROVIDENCE, R.I.--The 2019 American Athletic Conference Basketball Media Day will feature extensive coverage of the event with over seven hours of live programming on the conference's digital platforms. The American's Hali Oughton anchors live coverage from the Philadelphia Airport Marriott on Monday, Oct. 14, along with basketball insiders Andy, Katz, Monica McNutt and Mike O'Donnell.

Starting at 8 a.m., Oughton will anchor both men's and women's sessions throughout the day with O'Donnell joining for the men's event and McNutt adding insight on the women's side. Both the men's and women's shows air on the American Digital Network Plus on Facebook.

ADN coverage features poll and players of the year discussions, video features, live on-air interviews with players, coaches and the commissioner, as well as team-by-team breakdowns.

Katz, one of the most renowned college basketball analysts in the county, hosts roundtable conversations with all 24 head basketball coaches of the The American. This year, the complete coaches' roundtables will be streamed on Twitter in conjunction with the ADN's live show which continues its in-depth coverage throughout the day. Further pictures, info and graphics can be found on The American's basketball Twitter accounts: @American_MBB & @American_WBB.

Media members will have the opportunity to conduct interviews throughout the day. Those who have not yet RSVP'd are encouraged to contact Tom Fenstermaker (tfenstermaker@theamerican.org) on the men's side and Megan Erbes (merbes@theamerican.org) on the women's.
