Using the run to set up the pass? Never heard of such tomfoolery.  Everyone knows that you use the pass to set up the run.

Think McCloud showed us enough in UConn that he can pass. Just needs to heal up and I think he will be fine

C'mon trip it wasn't a few. I cant remember 1 that looked good...

I hope it was just injury related and he is throwing well next week but it was concerning.

Plan to break down the tape later today and will report my findings here...

Upon further review, he did have 6 good throws but all but one to Mitch over the middle were of the short variety. In the 8 bad ones, I included the Wilcox TD because he wasn't throwing to him and the two McDoom misses although haven't heard if both were qb mistakes. Hoping too that injury was a contributing factor and things get sorted out next game, one way or the other ....

He also threw 2 of the worst interceptions I’ve seen in my life. McCloud isn’t the answer

I’m just chalking that up to freshman mistakes. He will continue to make them but I think he will have a great sophomore season next year

Next week against navy we will have the throw the ball. Navy has the 9th ranked defense in rushing (86 ypg) but is more toward the 70’s in passing (200 ypg)

We are 110th in passing, so there is that.
