Well as I said long ago I really stopped following political bull ****...I stopped caring long ago. I live my life without the interference of all things associated politically. I’ll watch any great athlete at any time.

I don't remember it happening either.  I'll just assume it didn't until I see an article or picture.  I'm pretty sure at that time Gore was starting and he was a backup.  Would have been career suicide.
