Kind of puts our recent struggles in a little more perspective 

We have only started 6-0 three times and 7-0 twice (both under CCS).

Goes to show kicking game is important. Lucky for us our games are either getting blown out or blowing out ourselves. Strong  

does not use scholarships on kickers which is dumb. Our kickers have not been this bad since Delbert and Mike Benner. We were really spoiled with great kickers for the past 10 years.

And Delbert was a punter, forced into kicking work, due to injury or something.  If I remember it correctly.

Maikon Bonani (sp?) was the guy that fell off the sky ride...don't remember if that was the reason or not..

USF still has outside chance to play Memphis in Liberty Bowl in AAC title game. However!! If USF beats Memphis at RJS they may knock them out and open the door for Tulane!  Can you imagine another trip to NOLA with AAC title on the line??? Horns Still Up!!

Yes. That was the year they won the Cotton Bowl, finished 11-0-1, and came in #2 in the nation.

Wow that is super optimistic for this team.  But that would be a lovely scenario.

SMU looks to be having one of those magical seasons.  At least so far.
