To have any shot at a 6 win season and a bowl game, we have to win the next 4 and then take 1 of the last 4.  HIGHLY unlikely, but I'll be there cheering on my Bulls at least for 2 1/2 quarters.

Reality? We lost to a team that just lost 24-2 to Temple. Not to badmouth Temple as I am sue they and their first year coach are licking their chops to play us.

Reality? We have a coaching staff that apparently has no clue how to improve the players around them being led by a coach that can only say, "We have to get better."

THAT ladies and gents is the reality we live in.

Our current reality is that we stink in a conference no one cares about in a system designed to keep us here.

The reality is CCS has cratered this program in less than 2 and a half seasons. He'll be back to being a position coach soon enough. Which might be where he belongs considering his defenses have been bad to mediocre post UL. Unfortunately he's going to leave with a brinks truck full of our cash.

sad, but true....  hopefully a few wealthy alumni are embarrassed enough to donate Charlie's buyout so we can hire a new coach and return to mediocrity sooner than later....

not sure how the buyout is structured but spread it out over 4 years. Pay $1.25M per year for 4 years and then pay new coach $1.25M(or so) per year. we would still be paying $2.5M per year.

we need to stop overpaying for coaches. the 2 that we broke the bank for have put us in  a huge hole.

The guy just failed at Texas no reason he deserved 2.5 million. Should done incentive based with a base 1.5 and like 200k for every win over 6 games so a potential for 2.7 in regular season salary.
