IMO he could simply say, "We'll get this fixed." Doesn't have to say anything else to let us know that this BS is not acceptable.

CCS absolutely shouldn't make it to the end of the season, but selfishly I hope he's here when USF makes the trip to Austin next September.  I'd love to see the reception he'd get.

I would hope we just pull the bandaid off now, like today.  Put KB in as interim coach and just survive the pain that is the rest of this season.  This lets Kelly  have a solid 3 months to look at decent, young P5 OC's and DC's that can get us back on track and not leave to move up for at least 5 years.

This is an excellent strategy. Not sure about recruiting though...

and I think that's going to force Kelly to change his tune from 'get the IPF done' to 'win back the base'.

Crucial.

I would hope recruits would see a positive in cutting the cord now after what has transpired the last 11 months.  We have 11 coordinators and assistant coaches that can go out and tell our story while focusing on Florida kids that want to play and not sit for 2 years.   Only bring in transfers to beef up the O line, develop the rest.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

Last I checked the scoreboard doesn't have a spot for current bank balance on it.
