Two future opponents are on ESPN2 tonight at 8pm with Syracuse (1-3, 0-1) playing the Huskies (3-1, 0-0) in Storrs.  UConn is favored by 6.5 points.

Except for their opening loss to WVa at home 15-7, the Orange's other two losses were to ranked teams Virginia and FSU.  They blanked Buffalo 31-0.

UConn's 3 wins have been against powderpuffs Buffalo (38-0), Liberty (59-0) and Army (last year still stings! - 47-13).  Their loss was at ranked (#23 at the time) GaTech 28-13.

uconn - because 'cuse seems to pose the only threat to us besides WVU, so if uconn beats 'cuse then that would make usf remain top in the conference - that is if we beat uconn, which we should.

What makes yout hink UConn is going to be a pushover?

I think UConn might be every bit as tough as Cuse.

It will be tough playing UConn in the frozen north, especially if a bowl bid is on the line

'Cuse has not shown that they will be all that tough.  Rutgers looks like they are better than the Orange.

I would root for U Conn right now, as U Conn is 0-0 and 'Cuse is 0-1 in Big East play.

Both games will be tough for us since they both are on the road.  It doesn't really matter at this point who you root for since we haven't played either of the two teams.  As long as USF keeps winning, it will take care of itself.

Last I checked the scoreboard doesn't have a spot for current bank balance on it.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
