I would say that is just the cost of doing business.

The schools' get advertising, conference money, tickets and concessions....how does that stack up against what the kids get $ based on scholarships, housing, books and food?

I would say looking at King's career stats, UH has nothing to complain about based on their investment into him. He beat USF twice, how much would it be worth to a USF fan for him not to have been there? The current set up seems mutually beneficially to me.

There never is and there never will be a change that benefits G5 programs, it’s a P5 world and we are just living in it to be exploited at their whim.

I don't see the problem with it. This is all about money. The schools and the coaches seem to be making boat loads of it so what is the issue.

Agreed! It’s the way things are. Most want CFB to be the NFL, every year it gets closer and closer.

Spot on. Everyone needs to take their medicine or start cheering for a P5 team. The music has stopped and we don’t have a chair to sit in.

The only issue I have is starting a semester submitting for the scholarship and then entering the he portal, there’s nothing mutual about that.

If people want to make it a business, then have the players sign contracts.

Is there really anyone on this site that truly believed King was coming back to Houston after he quit on his team mid year?  He was gone and everyone knew it, to be surprised or hurt by his decision now is completely naïveté.  There is no loyalty to the program and vice versa and not sure there should be either.
