After all, Slick Willie left the cupboard full and had high level recruits 3 deep on both sides of the ball. Such a great coach, he can't win with 4 and 5 star recruits now. Just let that sink in.

Point being is that this is a 9 win team.... so why all of a sudden that you drop one to GT that you should have won and now the program is better than that. I will admit that he has done some dumb stuff...like personnel decisions. However, just like the 4 transfers on D, he can go right back in there and get some better players to fill some holes while the few young ones get some experience. Roberts and Sanders will get you fired!!!   So will Atterbury and Norman. Those are just dumb decisions.

this team just lost 8 in a row . this is his 3rd year and he is using your beloved portal as a bandaid to stop the bleeding from his terrible recruiting.

The factor not yet mentioned in this thread is number of TV viewers. USF is g5 because we don’t draw as many TV viewers as other schools, and the other Florida schools (UF, Miami, FSU) already opened Florida to ESPN and the ACC and SEC networks (well not the ACC yet, most FL cable still hasn’t picked it up). 

Without more TV viewers we may be g5 forever.

I agree with you. Nothing like hitting the bricks, go crutin’. I did read today that the number2 TE from AL is making an official visit in December. He said Strong and Co. are making him priority number one. Told him he would play as a freshman.

But he did beat #4 UF and Miami atleast.

They were not 3 deep, CWT did not leave 3 deep, he had one terrific recruiting season and after CCS first year he was in a complete rebuild after that classes eligibility ended. CCS and CWT are not quality head coaches, both can or could recruit however without a Bridgewater or Flowers/Mack they are shat and we will continue to watch others pass us by.
