No Ritz in Austin, you may have to slum at the JW Marriott, stayed there a few times, nice digs and easy walk to all the bars.

We will be in Austin. It’s a great city with lots to do. I was stationed at Ft Hood, Tx when I returned from Vietnam in 1969. Actually enrolled at UT and took a few classes. The music scene was awesom

It was a feeble attempt at humor, remember you saying you were staying at the Ritz in Atlanta, just saying don’t remember a Ritz in Austin, JW Marriott is very nice downtown but you may be a Hilton points member instead.  Just remember a post where somebody said you were a last chance to get an IPF, just played off of that.

No worries man... I have my spots in Austin... few Russian places for beverages before I head to the strip

Earlier booked an Air BNB just north of campus when I realized there were no hotel rooms under $350 per night available near campus.  A good portion of those 100,000 people must book hotels for all home games as soon as the hotel reservation dates open.
