In order to get this team better, CCS must get some D1 lineman on both sides of the  ball. 

We also need 2 more backers and at least 2 running backs.

Possibly 3 dbs and 3 receivers.

For the most part, our transfers from the portal are our best players. 

Goes back to what I always said. The talent pool was really thin. 

Really disappointed this far with Boyles and Greer. Built like Tarzan and hit like Jane.

 

By the way...Roberts and Sanders are still just as bad and that says alot about coaching and depth.

Pretty sure any transfer you take at this point won't be eligible until next year, the portal isn't some NFL trade where the player is eligible the next game. 

 

There is no point in working the portal actively until after the season. I'm not saying we should just ignore it but its not the answer for this season. You also do realize some of our worst players have historically been transfers as well right? For every Tmac I can name at least 2 AWs.

We better address this before the trade deadline. I hear Ohio State is trying to free up some cap space and may be willing to deal some linemen at favorable terms.

We should hold tryouts for our track team to join football. With how much time they spend running, they should be good enough to break a record or two in their first games.
