Norman pulled and not due to score.  Atterbury would struggle to start at Seminole High.

From what I see, the offense is based on dropback, pocket passing. Slow developing. Unless OL can hold blocks we will get what we did in the first two games regardless who QB is.

I don’t if our receivers are good enough or big enough to succeed against better, bigger defenses

Why is Ford still in?

And with that...I believe he tied the freshman total td record...may have broken it...

We've already see them play FBS defenses twice. Even had we gotten that TD last week against GT, 17 points is nothing to write home about.

Yea but Blake did nothing for 3+ quarters.  McCloud only plays a few drives and we nearly get two touchdowns.

Our offensive line is not good and it will hold back the offense if they dont improve.

****, can't even post about the quality effort by our Freshman QB in his first start without the self pity & negativity.

yeah the OLine needs A LOT of work & yeah it was SC State, but this kid will be our QB for 3 3/4 more seasons. assuming everything else on this team is going to look identical to what it has in these first 3 games of 2019 isn't realistic.

things will change. Having a QB who can make those plays will definitely help that progression.

The kid seems like he was naturally comfortable running that offense. I still can’t believe his is a freshman. Folks, QF looked lost and overwhelmed when Taggart played him on the road at SMU during his freshman year and he turned out having an amazing career. So seeing McCloud playing well beyond that was amazing and reminded me of a Marquel Blackwell dominating teams that USF should be dominating. So the future looks good! Go Bulls!

Our O line is worse than I thought.  What's lost in tonight's win is how bad they are.

What happened to Marcus Norman? I thought he was pretty good. Hes been awful through 3 games.

I’m with you on this man, think a lot of negative Nancy’s are missing a lot of positives right now. As a USF fan since day one, I can’t really tell you if USF had many seasons with a strong OL. The last successful pocket passes was our first QB Chad Barnhart and that was against weak competition. USF has found more success with QBs that are mobile. Dual threat QB’s are what USF needs to make it work. Jordan made the OL look better last night and that helped make the entire offense better. You will see a better team moving forward. Go Bulls

That's a good point. Yea Flowers looked horrible vs a bad Smu team in his first start.

It was just Sc St but he looks more experienced than he is and its not like he had all day to make passes.

If he had started the season we likely 2-1 going into bye week.

So my daughter’s AAU squad is playing a team tonight who they will destroy.  The 9, 10 and 11 kids will look like world beaters.

McCloud played a solid game vs South Carolina Nobody.  To bestow upon him the next QF and the savior of USF football is ridiculous.
