Not to a coach that knows the game.  In 11 years of coaching basketball I never mistook a practice player for a game player.  Charlie should be good at it by now, too.

Not that I know anything, but I never had the impression CCS was the best game time coach.

Our QB 3 is returning kicks. If he every develops as a passer I am extremely intrigued to see what he can do running the offense. He must be a weapon with his legs.

I like the fact that they are keeping Evans involved. They obviously think very highly of him if they built in wildcat packages for him and have him returning kicks.

Truth is, best thing for Charlie was to go with a freshman, always a great coaching move.

But, why wasn't this McCloud prowess discovered in Spring or Fall ball?

Regardless, I'm happy for the win and for McCloud to do some good things.  We have a moderately easy stretch ahead of us before the real stuff starts to come down....

McCloud looked a lot better than Barnett in the spring game also. I’m not sure why it took the coaching staff this long to go with McCloud.

I'd imagine that they were, at the time, close enough together in their eyes, that they decided to go with experience.

He was moved to receiver for a reason.   Explosive kid but not at QB at this level

To me Evans should be #2. Barnett does not work in this offense
