So they should always call it a TD, we would have been pissed if we were on D and it appeared he did not score but they called it a TD and we had the same angles.

The ball was on the one yard line, there was a push and Cronkrite made it over the top and extended the ball.  The rules say that if any part of the ball crosses the goal line (breaks the plane), it's a touchdown.  I think you give the offense the benefit of the doubt there at first, and then review.  That's all I'm saying.  Yeah it would have sucked to be on the other side of it, but I would have understood it, and I'd guess most logical thinkers would too.  I can't think of another time a RB goes up top from the one yard line with extension and doesn't get a TD.

As someone posted before, it's inexcusable that a major D1 team, particularly one in a P5 conference, would not have a better camera angle on the goal line.  Should have fixed cameras just for that purpose.

If they  don't have an angle I am all for there being a computer chip in the ball that releases a signal when it’s over the goal line.,

My thing is that it should have been a TD at the beginning, then a review would have been to see if it was not.  Officials were not on top of their game.

Good point

Wonder if Chuck really said that to the Refs.  He’s right, but that’s out of character I would think.

 I don’t believe it.

Why would you say something like that?  Was there any reason to?

It was an AAC crew so he was probably familiar with that particular crew and he maybe felt they jobbed us in the past?  Either way it's stupid to start off on that foot.....

So out of character, CCS is typically renowned for his interpersonal skills.
