Well, in years past, we complained because we’d win the big non-conference games and then fall flat in conference. We now have a chance to flip that script, but only if we’re able to consistently play a cleaner game.

This...I'm sure we will hit the portal hard for a few running backs and OL players.

We have a big Va Tech transfer he needs to be playing.

But right now Blake's days are done...bad qb.

There is a reason most of those players are in the portal.  And it isn't because they are awesome players.  Some have realized there was a bad fit.  Most can't stand out where they are, and changing schools won't help that.

Man you are all over the board. First you are guaranteeing wins now you are selling the whole team down the river. The portal is not magical. We have had plenty of transfers.

I'm so tired of all the garbage....I'm almost ready to stop buying season tickets. Maybe we should all chip in to rent a banner plane to fly around the stadium towing  a "Fire Strong" sign. I bet that would get some action started in the front office.

This is the pattern we do every year now though.

- Well, at least the conference hasn't started yet

- Well, we still control our own destiny in the conference.

- Well, if team xyz loses, we can still win the conference

- Well, we can't win the conference, but maybe we'll beat UCF

- Well, there's always next year!
