For the trash comment above, in terms of football. They’d be right.

Do you feel better?

I think personnel changes in the second half got us and played a role. Sawtelle went down, which might not have been as big cause of him but it took our best DE at the time and put in a an unfamiliar role witch hurt. BB was banged up, OL got banged up and we were playing 2-3 Freshman at a time. We stopped making fourth quarter plays. Two or three of those seven we lost were winnable in the fourth quarter. It's just football.

Injuries certainly were a big factor, but honestly we were NEVER really a good team even during the 7 game winning streak.  We played nobody good (except for maybe GT), and had to barely pull out most of those wins.  The first half of the season was smoke and mirrors last year.

This year, I have no idea, the jury is still out.  But one win over GT and yes, the mood and feeling on this board will change dramatically.  Whatever you think of GT and their change from the Option, them not being that good, blah blah blah......they are still a Power 5 Team with some pretty **** good players, and a win over them would do wonders.

I would feel good about a win no matter how close.

The caveat is that GT has a new coach and has ditched the triple option for the first time in forever, so there's likely some learning curve going on, but I'd also say that it's definitely easier to go from triple option to a spread or more traditional offense than the other way around, so their players should get it - and also hard to judge them doing that and facing the buzzsaw that is the defending national champs Clemson (in Clemson) in Week 1.

If we beat GT and then handle BYU (who looked meh against a decent Utah team), and then we get our patsy in SC State, I'll be feeling good. As long as we're getting better in all facets each week. Shouldn't be hard at this point.

I thought KB was suppose to have full control of the offense though!

Thats sorta my point, we were the same team at 7-0 as we were at 0-7. The injuries and competition just made to where we couldn't compete anymore.

The real question is where in the hell is Trips? I have been concerned ever since Cali wished death upon him.

If they're even able to correct enough of the issues to make a game of it with GT, I'll put my antidepressants away...for another week.

That's a good question, he has been MIA ever since the game.

Triple - Do we need to put out an "All Points Bulletin" for you?

I'm sure Cali and Corey are just in deep depression and denial.

This board has a history of big emotional swings.

People need to just let the season play out before we promote Bell to HC after one of the worst offensive games at Usf.

Yes, and we love it.  We will collapse against Cincy and UCF.
