My oldest son was considering his engineering options. He had an offer from Rose Hulman, went for a visit, found my fathers memorial brick, and said  Gpa, nope and nope, too cold. Strongly considered G tech , which had also contacted him, triple nope, nope, no, no pretty girls.

First concert I went to  back in 1984 I saw Ratt at the Hulman center in Terre Haute, he made a good choice, place smelled like someone let the air out of an old tire, the rust belt sucked, those towns don’t smell as bad now, but only because the industry left long ago, not sure which is worse.

Funny you should say that, i as a kid ( both my parents were from Terre Haute) when we would visit, I was struck by just that, the smell.

Sort of like the redundancy of the overwhelming majority of posters on this site.  Win and we’re headed for the playoffs.  Lose and everyone should be fired.

I prefer to call it consistency when I do something it has more positive connotations.

Tech isn’t running the Triple Nope anymore. He should reconsider.
