Hi Guest,

In our efforts to raise funds for USF Football, the site is giving away a football season full of ad-free surfing at The Bulls Pen.

Would you consider buying a ticket or two to the raffle that will award this to you or a fellow member of the board?

Each ticket purchase goes directly to our effort to raise $10K in "fan money" for the program.  Below is the link:

Thank you,

I still dont think you can make any true conclusions on rankings after 1 game.

You can't, just a cry for attention and a way to poo poo on the Bulls

With one data point for each team it is too early to say how things will definitively end up, but we project the outcomes of the season and games even before they occur. This is actually rooted in what I have seen and certainly up for lively debate. No one team is destined to stay in their current ranking and there will be fluidity as teams over and under perform biases and expectations.

Having said all of that, college football is the shortest of the seasons for the major sports so every data point matters.

I think we are better than UCONN.

I also agree with you rating us last. On field performance puts us there. We don't want to be like ESPN and the selection committee and ignore inconvenient results because we judge certain teams to be the best regardless of on field results.

The only positive about this ass beating was it was a wake up call to the team hopefully. hopefully. We can still win the championship and go to a bigger bowl. We have to fight for everything. I am still thinking we lose every game until we win won. Charlie has lost full control of the team. There is no fight, no passion, no intensity, and NO PREPARATION week after week. This all trickles down from the leader.

I hope all of these *******, both coaches and players, have some pride for themselves and the university.

UConn squeaked out a 3 point win over WAGNER.  That on field performance doesn't say squat.  ECU got smoked by a mediocre NC State.   SMU edges arky state.  Wins over holy cross and bucknell.

We're not exactly comparing apples to apples here when we point out we got pummeled by Wisconsin

I'm going by >50%, but some of those guys mentioned may have been equally rolled on Friday night.  Not sure it's fair to compare W's over famu, bucknell, arky state, holy cross, and wagner to a drubbing to a team that is a clear bad match up for us (and always has been even back to the CJL days).

It wasn't pretty and this season may not be pretty, but ranking as the worst team in the conference is dumb.

Equally rolled? At home? It was the largest margin of victory for Wisconsin on the road since 1996. Unless Wisconsin turns out to be Clemson this year then there is major cause for concern going forward. This wasn’t a hostile environment in front of 80k at Camp Randall. It was a home game and we couldn’t even cross the 50 until late in the 4th down 49 playing against reserves. The GT game is a make or break for CCS. Lay another egg and we may not see 10k in the seats for SC State.

I guess I’ll have to take your word for it. Alabama and Clemson couldn’t even beat their FCS bodybags as handily last year at home. Wisconsin treated us like a bad FCS team. Like I said, I hope they are legit NC contenders, but I think some people are just fooling themselves.

You're right, shutter the program.  We can't compete with Wagner, bucknell or holy cross.......
