Hi Guest,

In our efforts to raise funds for USF Football, the site is giving away a football season full of ad-free surfing at The Bulls Pen.

Would you consider buying a ticket or two to the raffle that will award this to you or a fellow member of the board?

Each ticket purchase goes directly to our effort to raise $10K in "fan money" for the program.  Below is the link:

Thank you,

Most if not all AAC conference teams would have lost to Wisconsin.

Most would have been drubbed almost as bad if not equal

I have some doubts and have had them for many years when people talk about all this talent on the team. We do have some decent players certainly but until some of them show it on the field, all we can grasp on to in several cases are HS accolades. I stopped really examining the recruiting rankings a decade ago -- are we even among the top rated for recent recruiting classes? Not trying to pick at a scab here-- but just assuming we are does not make it reality.

Corey and Calibull were the biggest over-hypers this off season. They spoke as if they were on the practice field and knew people in the program.  And that could have been true except for the fact that our offense practiced against our defense and vicey versey.

I can't really argue with the rankings at this point. My biggest concern with this offense is receivers. do we have a dependable receiver on this team or is this just going to be catching by committee. Ford would not have been able to overcome a 49 point deficit but he might have sparked this team enough to get some points. As far as recruiting ranking go we have been average at best around 77/128 in the country and around 5/12 for the conference.

If you go by >50% being most you might be right.  But don't think Houston, Memphis, Cinci, UCF or even Tulane or Temple would have been beaten like a drum.

Is our roster really that much more talented?  At a few positions maybe. Let's see them actually do something on the field.

Maybe there really is not as much talent on the field as we hope there would be.

Yes we definatelty have alot more talent at least on offense.  Speed everywhere - Running backs, wide receivers, nfl caliber tight end.   Its getting them in position on the field to maximize their talent is the challenge.

Certainly didnt happen this past week though for whatever reason.

Tulsa could’ve done better than we did 😢

The WRs were the biggest dissapointment. I havent looked at the stats but seems they had more drops than catches.

Isnt there only job to run a route and catch the ball (and occasionally block).  Their performance was unacceptable.

Still thunk we have plenty of talent on offense.  Hopefully KB and Blake and the rest will figure it out as we go.

I'm going by >50%, but some of those guys mentioned may have been equally rolled on Friday night.  Not sure it's fair to compare W's over famu, bucknell, arky state, holy cross, and wagner to a drubbing to a team that is a clear bad match up for us (and always has been even back to the CJL days).

It wasn't pretty and this season may not be pretty, but ranking as the worst team in the conference is dumb.

God I hope you're right.
