May not be alone for long.

I've been worried all week, even though it is only Wed, that this could happen again.  If 3 years in CCS loses this one.........

I have always been a proponent of giving a head coach 3 full years but this would put a severe strain on that philosophy ....

I think it’s a good argument.

As you sow so shall you reap. Tags has yet to reap a bowl win. But he has reaped a huge salary, so he sowed something.

If he hadn’t been coaching a decade then sure but he has at some point you have to be measured by some of the standards coaches are typically measured by.

I was the same until the last 2 weeks but with how bad we looked and with some of the biggest issues still being prominent (undisciplined play, looking flat) I have moved it up to post navy.  That's over half way through the season and we play 4 very winnable games plus BYU who we could beat if the team actually played well.  If we still look the same through that stretch that's basically a whole season of football where we have looked like a very bad football team only a couple years removed from competing for a conference title and it's not like we aren't experienced either.   If this was a very young football team I would be more patient but that's not really the case.

Tags was hired not for his bowl wins but for his turning around of WKU and USF.  He did leave them in a better place than when he got to them...so for that was good enough to get his promotions up the ranks.

I am sure if he was here for the TT game he would have gotten his first bowl win.

How many wins does Charlie have in bowl games? Id prefer Tags over Charlie.

Winning exhibition games should be pretty low on that measuring standards list .... Keep focusing on the skewed overall record. That serves you better.

His first bowl win would have been over USCe had he stayed ...
