We’re currently 77...previous worst was 80 in 2008.

What site? It was my understanding on Rivals we were 2nd in the conference to Cincy.

I see we are 4th in the AAC on Rivals. Yes, that sucks.

Uhhh...I guess you have missed this year’s rankings. Obviously it could change but right now your statement is not the case.

76th two years ago too. Taggart came in and had the 54th rated(1st in AAC) class his first year. Strong had the 76th rated(5th in AAC) class in his first recruiting year after we went 11-2 with Taggart

there have been only 4 classes rated worse than Strong's best class in the last 17 years according to 24/7 and two of those were rated 66 compared to his best class at 65.

I don’t put much stock in the rating services. Best measure is field performance.

funny how one usually follows the other. Leavitt and Taggart pulled kids who had offers from big time programs.

a little tidbit from an article concerning our recruiting

That whole “every signing class 77th or better” thing? At 77th and 76th, Strong’s 2019 and 2017 classes were the lowest-ranked of the decade. Their classes have ranked fifth in the AAC three of the last four years after ranking either first or second for the four seasons before that.

You’re a day late for August, but will September work?

Neither of them seem passionate, great game day coaches or great motivators. However to my knowledge Skip didn't come in and change a system that was entertaining and working. He also has better victories.

So Holtz by a nine iron.

If I remember right, Skip tried to make BJD a pocket passer when he was beat on his feet.  All skip did was beat ND.

But, he did hire Cosh and let him implement that bend don't break BS so...
