I would give a quarter if he still looks like last game.

I wouldn’t even bet on that. Strong immediately went to the dropped passes as being a bigger issue, which yes, they were pretty bad, but this runs much deeper than that. Pretty sure they’re going to ride this out as long as possible.

McCloud isn't ready and dropped passes are a bigger issue. They are drive killers and most of hte time catching is the easiest part of the passing process. Drops can't happen.

I saw more over throws and forced passes than dropped ones (3). McCloud would be a step up on maneuverability alone...

BB should get the first half at Georgia Tech and if things haven't changed put in McLeod and don't look back.

I like your idea.

You might be on to something Mr. Watson!

pretty sure it was more and one or two were on third down with good throw out o them and they killed the drive. Also, one is much more difficult to do than the other. WR are expected to 100% inside the catching radious

You can't run this offense on monuverabilty alone

Blake is the better option. He really didn't play that bad when you look at what their front seven did to ours. We don't have a guy on the roster that can block their number 56. He was in Blake's face all night.

i have been reading here that the back up QB is always better, these posts have gone back to the Grothe days..  this loss goes to the entire team.

It really doesn’t matter who the QB is when WRs are dropping passes and cutting off routes. Then add the horrendous line play from getting beat to the numerous false start penalties because they are too slow to get out of their stance.

Go ahead and put a RS freshman out there against Ga Tech who has a really good secondary and a coach that is going to blitz the crap out of USF on Saturday. Let’s see how quick you all will be calling for who ever the walk on is behind McCloud.

What can NOT happen is your starting QB to drop his shoulders and throw his hands up like it's the end of the world... in the first quarter.

QB has to be a leader. I saw none of that on Friday.

Backup QB is always the most popular player.
