We're a lot better with a good slot receiver and an All-Conference tight end. But one didn't play at all and the other, what five or six plays? Don't know if that would have helped, but it sure as hell wouldn't hurt.

We don't like to play players.  It's part of our strategic vision.

Because Blake is a kid that never developed his mental game because his physical tools are so good. It's what got him his high school rating and attracted two power five programs before us. He's struggled making pre snap reads and has a tendency to lock onto his first option. Also he almost never climbs or slides in the pocket he just about always tries to to get outside. This is what Bell means when he talks about quieting Blake's feet down. His pocket presence is terrible.
