CDB's near USF closing - Items up for auction

Copper top closed a year ago.

The entire property was sold out from under them to the property group associated with PDQ.

There will be a PDQ and a small retail outlet on that site next year.

The boardwalk apartments, TIA TIAS, Greenery, Coppertop and Peabody's were the spots back in my day which ended  ten years ago.

Got to add CC’s to the list as well (before your time) I logged 20 plus hrs a week regularly at this fine establishment which was known for pure drunken debauchery.

The lineup was Monday nickel beer nite, Tuesday bring your own mug, Wednesday ladies night, Thursday all you can drink, Friday burst your bladder, Saturday kill a keg.  Sunday I think I went to the library, great place

However, the GOAT was Ricky’s on Fletcher.  Later became Casico’s then Mirrors.

Tijuana yacht club gets an honorable mention too, $2 Natty light pitchers on Thursday took their toll the next morning.  is the big CDB’s closed too, used to go to the big one after hours with the guy playing acoustic.

Spanky’s was a good one too.  Yes, the big CDBs has been closed for years.
