NCAA denies the waiver, forcing AAC to devalue the brand with a new team, allowing ESPN to offer less next bid...

Good god the big 12 model?

I guess it’s the lesser of the evils when the conference quality is currently a matter of addition by subtraction.

Unlikely they accept or  deny the waiver at least for a few years. They are not going to require the conference to a add a team in 12 months time. But we may need to add after that if it is denied...which may not happen.

How do you figure? Football wise our value just went up as did our per team payout. If anything I would 3/4 of the presidents to vote out Tulsa go to 10 and play a round robin schedule,

It would be my preference that they keep Tulsa and let us leave. I would say that I hate everyone left in this conference save Cincinnati but I think you have to know who people are in order to hate them.

They don’t have to let us leave we can simply leave. But to play as an Indy would be like shutting down the program.

And being in the AAC hasn’t felt this way? I would rather sigh 2 for 1’s like they are going out of style, become road warriors, have less home games but at least when we have them it feels more like this Friday and less like that dead empty feeling inside as you beg and plead with people to come to the games with you. You are lucky you get to watch from New England and haven’t got to experience all of the “value” the AAC has brought to our program and the community.

I'm pretty sure the coaches voted down on this idea at the weird lobster bake.

Isn't it silly to have a championship game when #1 outperforms #2 for an entire conference schedule?  I'd be a little pissed off if I won the regular season conference and had to play to have the championship made official.
