The headline does say that USF is 'hoping' for a sell out... but yeah, there are a lot of tickets left...

You know as well as I do that we will get around 38K.  There is little support for this team in Tampa.

i applaud MK for the Thursday night events bouncing around town to drum up awareness.

I expect about 32k butts in seats. Our 6 tickets are all spoken-for.

That’s way way low...

If we get 45K butts in seats I’ll treat you to beers at UConn.

Unless you walk around and count them don't think you'll be able to confirm.  And I'm not sure how you get into the suites to count them.  Don't forget both clubs.

So... Joey tweeted that the Tampa Sports Authority won't be able to give real numbers for Bucs games because of the way Bucs tickets are 'scanned' upon entry.  He did not indicate if that same system would be used for non-Buccaneer events.

People going in to clubs and suites also get scanned, so they have always counted when TSA provided an "actual" number of patrons.

Therefore, if USF games use the old system (big if, given the new Season ticket cards) then TSA could still provide an actual.

Now... all of this said... crowd shots on Twitter and on TV will make it clear if there 45k in the stands... yes, a thousand or two will be in the suites... but I would not expect the clubs to be THAT crowded during the game if it's not raining.

Who cares, now they count as attendance.

129 other schools have managed to not care about it and some how they and their fans have survived.

Our fans don't care either... our beat reporters are the ones who care.

Our (some) fans care that the beat reporters care, so, therefore, our (some) fans do care indirectly. .

This is because it likely has the highest clicks to effort ratio of all time.
