If you are East Coast of Florida you might want to head this way in any case.  OR get an early start on Ga Tech. Fingers crossed for the East Coast people.

Thank you. Praying it swings out to sea and we can head across SR60 to the game.

This is really annoying. I’m leaving Friday afternoon from the East coast for the game, but planning to spend the weekend in Orlando. I’m not sure I’ll know by the time I leave Friday if I need my shutters up or not and these storm forecast move all over the place and are not any more accurate than random dart throws.

Put them up.  Worse feeling in the world would be to NOT and then have damage done.  That's why I filled up all the gas containers today.  Being on this side of the state we won't make a decision on shutters until Sat probably.

If I sat in the rain for the putrid Gasparilla  Bowl, I can certainly sit in the rain to watch us play Wisconsin.

Out of simple up-votes, so I agree.

Safety to your family comes first.  If you live on the East Coast, take it seriously.  Its projected to be a Cat 3, could be worse.

Best bet is to board everything up, get your supplies, and head over to Tampa.  Even if it crosses the State right over Tampa, it will still be a lot safer over here.

I hope the storm hysteria doesn’t create too much Friday traffic for me, and fingers crossed I can get gas in Tampa Friday evening.

Probably will need to put shutters up so will begin some of that work tomorrow.

Everything at this point indicates this will be a strong storm. The last few hurricane seasons the storms have been stronger than forecast.

Based on the latest track, it looks like this thing may pretty much completely miss Tampa.

I told you that this Tampa Hurricane "Blessing" thing is a real THING!

GO BULLS!

The storms that form near Belize are the ones with a better chance to hit us.
