Any scenario in which we come out victorious will require us to be tied or leading at halftime. If we get down by more than 1 score it could turn into a long night. Force them to pass at least 25 times and run it fewer than 40 times and we will have a great chance of winning.

Knowing CCS we will settle for FGs at least twice, particularly with newfound confidence in the kicking game (kicker duo). KB will intro some fun wrinkles and we'll get a few splash scores, but it won't keep up with JT's pace - Wisky won't need to try for many FGs because their running game will gash our D and wear out the D-line and LBs completely by 4th quarter - and we don't have the horses to keep changing out fresh, dependable legs across the D. They won't have difficulty converting first downs with the running game and will run down the clock - I don't predict our O will be able to get on the field enough and work out kinks fast enough (or give the D enough break time) - but it would be extremely exciting if they can and do. Turnovers at the handoff may be a risk for them and would make the game exciting if we can pounce on a fumble or two. Watching how well their run game sells our DBs into allowing the pass will also be interesting and hopefully not too depressing. 

This is one game where we need to take the ball first if we win the coin toss. If we don't, it could be midway through the first quarter before our offense sees the field. Hope the offense can put the pressure on their offense early to score, ignite the crowd, and get the defense ready to attack.

Here's the thing:  Taylor can run wild on us, but we just need to score on our end.  I'm sure they'll use him to open up the pass game which should work to our advantage.  They could also play it completely different and come out of the gates throwing since everyone is expecting Taylor to bust loose.  Sawtelle being out is a huge concern so let's see how we adjust.

seems like a lot of people are over estimating Wisconin's defense.  they have a lot of holes... they have question marks at all three levels on defense.  I think we break 40

Hope you are right.  I do think both Defenses are going to give each team opportunities to score.  The key is who takes advantage in the Red Zone and who doesn't.

All we can do is hope at this point. It's fun to predict, but it's the first game--dumb stuff is gonna happen, just don't set expectations for the ceiling.

Absolutely correct.  Nobody knows how it will do down.

Watching the Florida/Miami game, being the first game it will probably be sloppy, too many penalties, turnovers, etc.  There is no Preseason, so its very unpredictable, but still fun to speculate what might happen.
