The XFL has announced the Tampa Bay franchise name and logo.  It looks kind of cool I think.

Does this new Spring Leaque have any chance to survive?  The only reason I think it possibly can, is because its being backed by Vince McMahon.  I know I know it didn't survive last time.....but maybe they learned from some mistakes and he does have a lot of money.

Will be interesting to see if this team gets stocked with Florida college talent, especially from USF.  That would be kind of cool!

I don't really have an issue with the Tampa Bay team, It's not great, but its not bad. The only issue I have is with the New York and DC teams. For an 8 team league, Guardians and Defenders are just too closely related for my taste.

The only one I have a real problem with is the LA Wildcats.

Being that it is Vince McMahon and it is the XFL, they should have used all NonPC names ....

And all the Teams are located in the large markets which should help, and one market that recently lost their NFL team - St. Louis. 

I'm kind of surprised they picked Tampa as the city to represent Florida, and really the entire South, unless you count Houston.

That should be "Guardians of the Galaxy" and "Defenders of the Universe".
