I try to stay up on stuff but this just seemed like a circular puzzle and the not knowing about the different Ticketmaster accounts delayed things.  And I still don't think our friend's brother would have figured out how to receive them.

Jesus, this card crap sounds a lot more complicated than the old method....

But what kind of story would I gave some guy a ticket and they used it be?

Just transferred one of my tix and a survey popped up about the experience. I'm sure my response negated CR's if he got one ...

This shouldn't help stoke the flames of an OCS outcry at all.

The issue is not the stadium it’s the dummies who lose their cards.

My comment was more to the good fans like @CousinRicky that cant transfer their tickets within 30 minutes while planning 10 days in advance and talking to people in the athletic department, I do not know how many fans will jump thru all of the hoops its being reported and not yet refuted that it takes. Sure if you lose your card it should take some effort but it also should take less than 5 minutes to send someone a ticket, if it takes longer the system seems to be an issue.

I've got 4 different TM accounts and even knowing about them presents challenges at times ...

This is the way the world is going now days. The last 5 or 6 years the Final 4 doesn't have tickets (at least for those who win the fan lottery). Your credit card is your ticket, they swipe it and a little tab of paper prints out with the seat location at the gate. I completely get why team like the new system and why fans might push back from it.

I'm curious what happens if someone walks up on game day and realizes they left their phone at home or if their phone battery dies before they get in? (assuming that their ticket is a mobile ticket and not the card) I'm sure that there is a way to get them in, but I don't know what that will look like.

I guess when I'm too old to figure it out I stop buying tickets, donating money and I'll watch from home.  Should have another 15 - 20 years until then so in the meantime I need to learn.  But my mother, while in her mid to upper 80s, couldn't figure out a DVR enough to play back the shows I set up to record for her.  So I know this stuff happens.

I don't about the hoops on the receiving end but it only takes about 30 seconds to transfer ...

That sounds reasonable enough maybe they should send out better detailed instructions if it is clearly not taking some that time in practice. Typically every system is amazing until you push it into production.
