Ive lived in Florida all my life but I gotta say as I get older and after visiting the mountains recently in NC and Tennessee area a few weeks ago...I can really see the draw to living atleast in the summer months in the mountains.

Being a transplant from the North I'm fine with dealing with the heat in the summer so that the winters are tolerable.  There really isn't a lot of difference living here and up north.  Up north in the winter you stay inside. Here in the summer you stay inside. AND you never have to shovel sunshine or rain.

You can always put on more clothes but they tend to frown upon you taking too much off.

😂😂😂...most of all I am with you on Disney World. I’ve always found it strange to see people who have no kids going there.

Those people should go straight to jail.

Yeah I never experienced living up north in the winter for any real length of time.  Id likely go crazy.

Complete opposite for me. No not everyone stays inside during the winter. In fact most New Englanders embrace it. I love the snow and skiing (cross country). You guys really miss out on the autumn season which is my favorite (sweat top, sweaters). Last, shoveling, like raking, is for suckers. I use industrial snow blower and I am done in 30 min. Best part, I only sweat about three weeks a year due to the heat. Last, Florida has nice beaches but after that the scenery is pretty bland. Nothing like biking over rolling hills as the trees are changing color in the autumn.

Tubing down a river is a pretty nice experience here. I agree, the NE is beautiful, but even 30 minutes to get out of your driveway is too long.

Ha! Good point but it’s only about 10 times during the winter. Thanks to global warming the winters are not as bad as they once were 🤘

Who knows what the fan percentages will be.  Its a Tampa thing.  We have always had a problem with "other" fans, not necessarily taking over our stadiums but a lot of times pretty darn close.  I'm talking all Tampa Sports teams, not just USF.

Its going to be a fun game regardless.   Football is back, plenty of adult beverages will be flowing, and as you say the "views" should be pretty nice!  I actually think the game is going to be pretty exciting as well.

Are you sure aren't from the South?  You just used the word y'all.  Or maybe that has now become mainstream across the country.  I rarely leave Florida so wouldn't know.

Sorry, been busy the past week with a wedding in Manitowoc and some other stuff.  Anyways, @Jonesy Bull I have a cousin in Missouri and he kinda introduced me to the term y'all so now I like usin it.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
