I can't tell you what Tampa chili is but I can tell you what it is not: Noodles with a jar of Ragu (the store bought not the style) sauce and enough shredded cheddar and onions on top to cover up the taste. South Carolina State - Beef Brisket, mac n cheese and corn bread muffins. SMU - This is a toss up until we know game time. Noon kick off it’s steak and eggs. Anything later, smoked meatloaf, baked potato, BYU - Toss up with SMU for Steak and eggs for noon kickoff. anything later, something Mormon. Temple- Philly Cheesesteaks all the way. Cincinnati - Chilli Tampa style. Memphis - 4 racks of ribs. Two Memphis style rub two bbq. Championship game - Lobster tail. I lost sleep smoking meat so much in the last 2 years that I don’t know if I can do it another year. Might be time to invest in a Traeger so I don’t have to check temp ever again. I’ll probably end up with a very similar menu except instead of steak and eggs, biscuits and gravy and eggs.

So, I did a quick internet search and it seams that wild game (which would include bison) chili and something called funeral potatoes are popular in Utah. If you want traditional SC BBQ, it should be mustard based. I was told by BYU fans I know, green Jello and funeral potatoes. "Funeral Potatoes" is nothing more than that potato casserole everybody takes to somebody's house when a loved one had passed on.

That's what we had the last time UC was here, only we added it to ground beef so it was not so soupy. We also had Grippo's BBQ potato chips and made chili cheese coneys. So far I have not been able to find one from Madison or a brewer called Badger Beer. If you have time to pick up a six pack of a good IPA I'll find you and pay you for it. Now that I have read the rest of the thread I'll share with @puc86. GO BULLS! What I want to get my hands on is a six pack of Huber Dark. @Ryan do they sell Huber Dark all year round, now? You used to only be able to get it during Lent, when they clean the vats out. It used to be my favorite time of year in Milwaukee.
