The writing was on the wall here with the aggressive pursuit of two QB’s in the 2020 class and bringing in an entire group of PWO’s.  Kuddos to him for embracing this change.

If McCloud is the real deal and shines after Barnett leaves then this is a solid move... We have quite a few QBs committed in our next class as well. Overall good decision I think. Just gotta get your play-makers in space!!!

We have had a lot of success in the past (under CJL in particular) in converting QBs to other positions. Hopefully Evans can shine at WR. 6'2'' 185 lbs is not too shabby for a WR and we know that he has the ability to read a defense and recognize coverage. I wish him the best and look forward to a few trick plays involving his QB skills in the future.

The guy who will start after McCloud, Tate Rodemaker...emberace it because that who is the heir apparent to McCloud or if McCloud bobbles...He is the guy.

I like Jordan Smith better, but hell if the coaches choose the heir apparent with a coin flip I will not have any issues with who is picked. We have 2 great prospects.
