Good God there should be a rule on this board that the name Antigua should never get used...

After the Antigua hire.  Kind of a wash.

People make mistakes and a measure is how you correct those mistakes. Cutting COA loose when he did, not waiting and then the subsequent hire of CBG is far from a wash ....

You mean like Woolard hiring Taggart after Holtz?  He doesn't seem to get a pass for that on this Board?

His prior hire to Antigua did not pass the background either, maybe a blind squirrel is bound to find a nut so move your butt to the dance floor, sorry I digressed.

Ya, the Masiello fiasco then the Antigua circus that killed MBB are probably a greater negative than Gregory is a positive.

This Board is divided into many factions and he definitely doesn't get a pass from some of those factions ...

Perspective ..... Without the Antigua circus, we may not have Gregory.

I thought Antigua’s incompetency was apparent very early.  The hiring itself was lazy and bad.  There is NO hindsight involved here.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
