Not really. To me, it's apples and oranges but everybody has their own perspective in looking at things.

The guy wants an IPF, correct?  So IMO he needs to work the room, with the room being the city of Tampa.  You want money and people in the stadium?  You can make the same effort we make when we show up at these events.  S/B part of the job description.

Absolutely correct, he has not earned the right yet to be an arrogant and aloof Nick Saban type, once he does he can be completely absent from these types of events however until then he will need to be a social butterfly IMO.
