Yea we use to have better talent on defense...or better coached atleast.

Watched some of last years GT game. So many plays we had them stopped in backfield and they break a tackle or we miss. Team has gotta tackle better it should be the priority issue to address on defense.

Tackling has been non-existent for a while. But I hear it's a problem many places.

Don't mean to be a douche, but just go straight to 3:42. This is from the same year as the Notre Dame game.

I think the older USF teams had a lot of individual NFL talent that carried the team, but there wasn't any depth which is why we always crashed at the end of the season. I think this team is simply deeper altogether in addition to NFL talent.

We should permanently ban the use of his name or likeness on this board. Tried to make BJ a pocket passer. He kills me

That early goal line turnover was huge in getting the confidence up for our team.

I guess it could have been worse, we could have tried to make Bobby Eveld a running QB.

He may have planned to but did not, Q was running the power in his first game and he put up 0 points in 50 minutes against a winless team prior to being yanked.  Had to have a gun to his head after winning 6 games in 2 years before he stubbornly changed to the Gulf Coast, He was not a visionary but had one terrific recruiting class that carried him to greener pastures, he is being exposed for what he is.  With that being said I am forever grateful to him for turning around the program and wish him well.

Guest Jonesy Bull

Last really "big name team" that we have beaten imo.  Even though we almost shot ourselves in the foot late in that game.....i remember how excited I was about the Holtz New Era.

Boy was i suckered!
