I can't wait for BB season to start.  We have a really good squad that I feel will make a lot of noise.  I get the feeling these guys are going to shock a lot of people.  So we're never really playing any of these team with a full squad, very cool... gets everyone ready.

MONTREAL, AUGUST 4, 2019 – David Collins scored 11 points and had three rebounds and two steals to lead USF to a 71-66 victory over the University of Quebec Sunday afternoon.

Xavier Castaneda (Chicago) and freshman B.J. Mack (Charlotte, N.C.) both added 11 points, and Antun Maricevic (Zagreb, Croatia) and Michael Durr (Atlanta) each finished with 10 points.

Alix Lochard led all scorers with 23 points to go along with five rebounds for Quebec. Frantson Demosthene grabbed nine rebounds and fell just shy of double figures with nine points.

USF used a 10-3 run midway through the third quarter to open up a 58-47 advantage and would go on to lead by as many as 14 points on a jumper by Mack with 6:01 remaining.

The Citadens answered with a 13-2 run to cut the USF lead to three with 2:05 left, but the Bulls forced two turnovers in the final 32 seconds and Collins (Youngstown, Ohio) made both free throw attempts to seal the victory.

USF continues its Canadian Foreign Tour Monday at 7 p.m. when the Bulls travel to Quebec City, Quebec, to face Laval University.
