I wore my USF polo while vacationing to downtown Blue Ridge and I literally got more recognition and Go Bulls than I have ever before in my hometown. In less than a few hours over five different groups of alumni and current students came over and were talking about USF and football. It was pretty neat to go over 8 hours away and see people excited about USF and USF Football in the mountains of Georgia.

Was there on vacation too in June. Love them mountains. Wore my Bulls gear too. Check this out : my fishing guide asked where I lived in FL I said a little town called Lutz, he said “I went to Lutz elementary.” He's in his seventies.

That is pretty cool. We do have a few recruits from Georgia...I wonder if the GA media coverage of us will be better than the Tampa media coverage?

That area up there is a migratory destination for Floridians ....

This is true, but it is odd/sad I got more Go Bulls then I get in Winter Haven, FL.

I was sitting up on Glacier Point in Yosemite a week ago and got a “Go Bulls” from an alumnus.

Funny all this mentioned. Wife and I stopped at Cracker Barrel the other day in Ala. I had on my USF shirt. Manager came over and asked if I went to USF--Yep. He said he was from Tampa but....."I went to that other school..." Got a kick out of him phrasing it that way...he knew.

NC & GA mountains are the melting pot of FL folk. You can run into more FL people up in mtns during the summer than local folk.

The weather is a lot cooler that is for sure. We just got back from our property in Morganton Georgia and the heat and humidity is a huge difference.

It’s an option we’ll be looking at but as a lifelong Tampanian, it’s kind of hard to imagine a complete move. May end up the same route as Outlaw, a part time basis.
