Badgers debut at #17.   Advantage Bulls.

A bunch of kids playing together for the first time on the O line, inexperienced at QB and a terrific RB.  I have hope our new offense catches them off guard and the holes in our D are partially filled, if so then we have a decent chance.  A competitive game is positive and a win is euphoria for us, a loss for them is crushing, I like getting them right out of the gate.  I am not ready to bow down and call this one a loss yet, not ready to take off my rose colored glasses

Nice, a talking heads reference, you are as old as I am.  “same as it ever was”

We really do have a brand new team in many ways along with thete being question marks at QB and OL for Whisky.

Anybody that says this is an automatic loss for us is just a negative nancy or just plain stupid.

I give the edge to Whisky because of their physical style of play and the learning curve we have on offense and question marks on defense.

But in no way is this a gimme for the Badgers.

My point exactly, a physical team historically runs the ball right down our throat however nobody knows what they got until they kick it off and this Whisky team is not one of the better ones.  This whisky team is not Woodford or even Jack Daniels, closer to a fifth of Jim Beam which is not all that special.

This game is winnable.  We were a 4-8 team in 2014 with mike white at QB and it was 20-10 at the start of the 4th quarter when we fumbled at the 10.  Who knows?  we probably still lose even if we score but it was competitive for most of the game.  I’m not saying we win but we’re not playing Clemson or Alabama.

Watch the first play for them be a pass. I’m calling it now.
