I wish we had overnight parking at Ray Jay. I'd surely take advantage of it. That's one major flaw of Ray Jay and the atmosphere it creates. Along with the Lots only opening 5 hours before kick. Lame. If they opened lots throughout the day it would help create a much more exciting and realistic CFB atmosphere

Even with lots opening 5 hours before a game you can drive up and get parking an hour before kickoff. The lack of tailgate atmosphere, and I don't think it is that bad, has nothing to do with the number of hours and everything to do with lack of fans.

I remember when I went to UF the RVs would roll in to Gainesville on Thursday for a big game on Saturday. There was a lot near the medical school where they would park.  Definitely helped to get the excitement going for game day.  So glad we don’t have an OCS and play our games at a rented  NFL stadium 🙄

Yes, all Walmarts allows RVs to park for free...just an idea.

Yes but how would they feel about having a caravan of usf bulls gypsies circle up? Cheerleaders--Rocky--Band...I'm thinking it might be too much...you think?

ForestBull-- since your the 1st person to inquiry about this well actually your technically the 2nd since there's me..(I do that so readers can roll their eyes and shake heads) if you come across something or more people let us know. Maybe we need a club( I hate clubs) nice thing about an rv club is you get sick of someone you can just go into your bull-mobile and close the door. I do believe the OCS is the key to the whole thing but never know...may be more folks out there?? We can cruise the "Walmart" lots and see if we see any hanging out...or, getting mugged.  My wife and I were thinking on this over the weekend for upcoming games. Even went to RV show and almost pulled the trigger but then I figured it would be cheaper just to go out in the back yard and pull the trigger...  "this isn't off topic since it's football related" and something to chat about.

The university should have a space for RVs...it would create many positive advantages for parties involved.

Honestly I think I am just going to bring it to lot 6 and do my normal tailgate shenanigans and abstain from the booze once the game kicks off. Then I guess I'll drive to Walmart after the game, head back in the morning.

Or I'll get my dad to bring his instead and let it be his ordeal lol

Of all the good arguments, and there are definitely some decent ones, the fact that we're missing out on all the excitement created by those RV's rolling down Fowler and onto campus on the Thursday before that big game against ECU is a pretty weak one, at best ...

They could, but that would still be a long drive to the game at RayJay ... maybe fun a Bull Runner to and from the games
