The following was in a Sports Network recap of USF's loss to Miami.

Miami has been ranked longer then any team in the country. Its streak stands at 93 consecutive weeks, going back to December 4, 1999

In December 1999, the Bulls had completed their 3rd I-AA season and they were contemplating the 4th and final I-AA season in 2000, when they would start the transition to I-A. The Bulls had played ONE I-A opponent (1st game of '99) and had spent 19 consecitive weeks on the I-AA polls.

I have been thinking of how far USF still has to go to catch Miami, but look how far USF has come in such a short time.

Go Bulls! Beat Pitt!

we didn't even have a chance to win because our qb can't complete a pass consistently  for 3 straight years

good defenses shut down our running game and force us to the air

miami was  beatable

lost opportunity

samething happened at psu and will continue to happen with pj at helm

With USF now being in the BIG EAST there will be plenty of opportunities in the future to beat teams like Miami. The way I see it, USF has improved from last year which is a good thing.
